Ecdysterone a naturally occurring plant compound which has been demonstrated to enhance physical performance and muscle anabolism.
Research has demonstrated ecdysterone activity is mediated by ERβ binding. This leads to an increase in protein synthesis, bringing about increased myotube growth and the resulting increase in skeletal muscle tissue.
Edysterone also has evidence for:
- Improved rate of wound healing;
- Improved heart, lung and kidney function;
- Anti-oxidant properties.
